"We love this pool! We are in our mid-60's and we were able to put it together easily. Fast delivery, too. "
"prep ground to be a level as possible. easy setup. manual could be more detailed "
"Intex customer service has been much less than acceptable. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for a call back. Very annoyed. "
"Great pool!!! "
"Awesome fun with the pool and our family"
"Brilliant. Easy to assemble (my 5-year helped me), instructions easy to follow, great quality, we are basically living in it now! Couldn't be happier. However it's only been a week so fingers crossed. "
"Great pool. The ladder however is complete junk and they should allow an upgrade when ordering the pool"
"We've have had essentially this pool for 4 years and it has done really well. A few parts have rusted (saline pool) and one pipe broke when the ground sank below the pool. It had minor pinhole leaks that were patched with glue when it was moved from one location to another. I use a stronger pump with a cartridge filter instead of the sand filter as I run an automatic sweeper and solar heating loop. I wish the drain valves were flush so as not to hang up the sweeper."
"May 8th 2019: Purchased the Intex Ultra XTR Frame 18’ x 9’ on April 25th from Walmart.com and received on May 5th, just one week. FedEx dropped off the 2 boxes and they were very nice in helping me taking the heavy boxes to the garage. Once I had time to inspect the contents, both my 10 year old son and I placed all of the parts out to make sure there were no missing parts. Once we were ready to put the pool together, we were very surprised on how quick and easy it was to build. Just followed the instructions to make sure we were doing everything in order. 1. Lay out the tarp flat. 2. Place the lining and make sure to open up to make sure the input/outputs are on the correct side. 3. Once lining is laid out insert the tubes in the correct order. 4. Once all tubes and corners are in place, make sure to twist and align the holes for “U” brackets (leg). 5. Place the restrainer strap onto the “U” bracket with label facing up. This is what will be used to tie down the cover. 6. Insert “U” bracket one at a time into each placement. Once you have inserted and LOCKED each “U” bracket into place, you can with 2 people twist and lift one side of the pool at a time. 7. Once all 4 sides are up, and legs are locked with connecting rods, you can begin to fill the pool. 8. Once you start filling the pool, you can then work on putting the filtration system together. All of this may sound difficult, but two hours later, my 10 year old and I had built the pool. Since we built the pool right before it got dark, I did not start filling the pool till the next morning. Once I started filling the pool, I continued to watch the lining to make sure everything was smooth and make sure all of the legs were in the correct position. To my surprise, the most difficult item to put together was the filtration system. Took a little bit to understand even with the manual, but I got it done. By the end of the day, the pool was filled and the filter pump was running. Still a bit cold in sunny So Cal, but both my son’s still have been swimming in the pool every day. I will update this post as my family continues to use the pool. Finally, the Ladder was simple to put together, with just a 10mm open-end wrench and a #2 Phillips screwdriver, this should only take about 15 minutes. "
