"I currently own the 12' x 30" METAL frame pool. I needed to replace the liner - which was currently out of stock. I called Intex customer service and they said that the Prism liner would not fit on the Metal pool frame. To me, it looked like the Metal liner and the Prism liner were the EXACT same thing (just different color) with the EXACT same dimensions, but I was told that "I would be wasting my money". Well, I received the Prism liner and was able to put it right on my METAL frame. Wouldn't you know that it fits EXACTLY LIKE THE METAL FRAME LINER. So, if you are in need of a replacement liner for your METAL or PRISM framed pools. this will work on EITHER ONE!"
"I have had many Intex pools over the past 15 years. Ever since I started using the metal frame models, I’ve only had to replace the liners. Although the liners should last much longer than they have, I finally figured out a formula that works for me! 1. Make sure where the pool is placed That the ground is perfectly level 2. Put down a pool pad and a tarp before laying out the pool 3. After there is 6” of water as the pool fills, get all wrinkles out of the bottom of the pool 4. As an extra measure, I also put a 12”x12” piece of tile under each leg of the pool frame "
